Multiple Teams · All Athletic Events Cancelled Indefinitely

We are sad to announce all activities are canceled indefinitely in response to the Coronavirus. No games or practices will be held moving forward until further notice. Please stay tuned here for updated information.

Here is the official announcement from the MBCA administration:

Dear Parents,

Today, we made the necessary decision to close Mt. Bethel Christian Academy’s two campuses, effective immediately, in response to concerns surrounding COVID-19. While we do not have a confirmed case on either of our campuses, we are choosing to practice social distancing as recommended by health officials and Governor Kemp.

Students, faculty, and staff are NOT to report to either campus until further notice. Virtual classes will begin tomorrow for students at the Upper School and on Monday, March 16th for students in the Middle and Lower Schools and will continue while school is closed during regular school hours.  We will determine and communicate the length of the closure as soon as we are able. Please look to your Schoology account for more information and the next steps for your students.

The Spring Fling, the Main Campus You Fed Me event, and the Middle School Musical will be rescheduled if possible. Our teams are working hard to determine new dates, and we appreciate your flexibility.

Please know that our absolute top priority remains the health and safety of our community. We ask that you join us in prayer for the families directly affected by this virus. It seems our theme verse chosen earlier this year is very much appropriate for today “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” (Matthew 6:34 NIV)

Our thoughts and prayers remain with our community and with all of you.

Blessings,

Keith Castello
